Gender Rights and Protection Department Projects
GRZ-UN Joint Programme On Gender Based Violence (PPPWCR)
The GRZ-UN Joint Programme on Gender Based Violence was developed to support the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) to implement the provisions of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) in order to contribute to the reduction of gender-based violence (GBV) in Zambia.
Boys To Men
The purpose of the project is to reduce male violence against women and girls, and support the development of emotionally affluent and engaged boys and young men. The project will provide an opportunity for boys to develop into non-violent, healthy men, supported by adult male mentors who model healthy masculinity and respectful, non-violent relationships.
Women At Work
Women at work will select young women leaders to participate in a one-year internship or mentoring program.
