On 25th November, 2022 Zambia joined the rest of the of the world to commemorate the International Day of the Elimination of Violence Against Women and to begin the 2022 campaign of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence.

The National Commemoration was held at Mulungushi International Conference Centre, KK Wing, Lusaka, under the national theme “UNiTE! Activism to End Violence against Women and Girls”!”and the Guest of Honour was Hon Brenda Tambatamba, Minister of Labour and Social Security.
