The Gender Division Permanent Secretary, Mainga Kabika, recently embarked on a provincial research tour, visiting Southern, Central, and Western provinces. The tour covered five districts including; Chikankata, Itezhi-Tezhi, Mumbwa, Mongu, and Kalabo.
During the visit, the PS Kabika met with parents, teachers, and pupils to conduct research on School-Related Gender Based violence (S-RGBV). Where she also took the opportunity to sensitize these groups on the vice.
To gather data, questionnaires were incorporated for group focused discussions with learners, headteachers, school guidance and counseling staff, and parents.
