President Hakainde Hichilema has exalted the Gender Division for its continued works in empowering women and promoting gender equity in the country. The President was speaking when the Carter Centre paid a courtesy call on him at State House. The President clarified that in terms of policy direction, the Gender Division was well placed to execute all Gender related interventions as compared to the then Ministry of Gender or the Gender Equity and Equality Commission. The President indicated that alot of achievements have been scored by the Division since it’s creation and implored the Division to intensify publicity of the achievements
