Under the GRZ-UN Joint Programme on GBV, Permanent Secretary of the Gender Division in the Office of the President — Mainga D. Kabika was joined the UN Zambia Resident Coordinator — Beatrice Mutali at a Media Engagement Breakfast.
Through the support of the Governments of Ireland and Sweden, the event covered focused on the theme: Towards Factual & Gender Sensitive Reporting of GBV in Zambia.
Various UN agencies were also present, conversing with media representatives, several CSOs and Government Representatives, including the EU, YWCA, National Legal Aid Clinic for Women, World Bank, Canada, amongst others.
